(NMI) Nazarene Missions International

The people of Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene are mission-minded people. We support all areas of missions in the church of the Nazarene.  One area in which we have taken special interest in is in packing Crisis Care Kits.

Each Crisis Care Kit includes the following items in a 2 –gallon Zip-loc bag:

·      1 medium size bottle of shampoo (12 to 18 oz)

·      2 bars of soap (bath-size or larger)

·      1 medium toothpaste (4.0 to 6.0 oz)

·      3 toothbrushes

·      1 box of Band-Aids (30 or more count)

·      1 fingernail clipper

·      1 sturdy comb

·      2 hand towels

·      4 pocket-size packages of facial tissue

·      1 Beanie Baby-size stuffed toy

We have asked the people in our church to bring in coupons for these items as we have a ladies group that loves to go coupon shopping. They have gone on shopping when stores offer double and triple coupons. They shop at CVS where often times with the items are free after the use of the coupon.
Our church has filled 8 boxes of Crisis Care Kits and is working on more. Our children have enjoyed working to pack the kits and learning about Compassionate Ministries.

We invite you to come be a part of our church family and catch a vision for the Mission of building His Kingdom!
