At Kings Mountain First Church of the Nazarene, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.  What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry.  Our goal is to infuse life and God's love into people and families through engaging,, powerful worship services that offer Biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.

Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there's relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.  in short, we would like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.

So whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Kings Mountain First Church of the Nazarene.

We hope to see you in a service soon!  Please contact us if you have any questions.

HISTORY

Kings Mountain First Church of the Nazarene in the 1950's

Our Last Service at Our Church on Cherokee Street on June 4, 2006
In 2006, we sold our church on Cherokee St. in Kings Mountain.  Our last service in our old worship center was on June 4, 2006.  The following Sunday (June 11, 2006) we held our first worship service in the Kings Mountain YMCA.  This would begin our three year journey to our new worship center on Countryside Rd. in Kings Mountain.  During our stay at the YMCA, we had to set-up and tear-down everytime we had a service.  We were able to have Sunday morning and Wednesday night services, but due to the operating hours of the YMCA, we were unable to have Sunday night services during the three years we were there.

Our Final Service at the Kings Mountain YMCA on May 31, 2009
On June 7, 2009 we had our first service in our new worship center.  Our worship center consists of a multi-purpose sanctuary designed to seat approximately 300 people for worship services.  It is also used for meals and other activities.  The worship center also consists of several classrooms and offices.
